Dougald Lamont's "F" score as a party leader is based on assessment of his personal leadership on 9 measurement categories relating to policy, voting, or actions, summarized as follows:
Lamont has voted badly on life issues during his time as an MLA.
Lamont supports the so-called “right” of a mother to kill the baby in her womb.
Lamont supports forcing taxpayers to fund medically-unnecessary, elective abortions.
As per Liberal policy, Lamont opposes conscience rights legislation to protect medical professional who object to directly participating in abortion, or by referring patients to other doctors willing to commit the abortion-killing.
Lamont supports, and voted for, a draconian and unconstitutional law that sought to criminalize peaceful pro-life expression and demonstrations on taxpayer-owned public sidewalks, within up to 150 metres of abortion mills.
Lamont is a gay pride parade marcher and opposes the true definition of marriage between one man and one woman.
Lamont’s pro-LGBT views are so extreme the he would even put public health at risk so as to advance his sexual libertine ideology. He called on government health services to end their longtime practice of refusing blood donations from men-who-have-sex-with-men. The existing blood donor ban on homosexual men is due to the fact that such people carry a dramatically higher risk of passing on HIV and other infections, and could taint the blood supply.
Lamont is a supporter of radical transgender ideology and the unscientific theory of gender identity.
He proudly promoted the fact that his Liberal party is running as a candidate, a sexually-confused biological male who identifies as transgender.
As per Liberal Party policy, Lamont is opposed to parental rights in education and believes that parents do not have a right to exempt their children from classroom lessons on topics such as homosexuality, transgenderism, transsexualism and transvestitism.
Wants to expand access to marijuana in more public spaces across Manitoba.
Also wants to permit marijuana production in residential homes.
NOTE: Always make your voting decision based on the merit of your local candidates, not the Party Leaders. If a local candidate in your riding has a green light rating from Campaign Life Coalition, vote for them, even if the Party Leader disappoints.
